Hiya,

I’m, Carla Scott Fullerton.

I’m an award-winning artist and qualified coach, known just as much for my laugh as I am for my work. In fact, my love of laughter led me to train in laughter yoga, and over the years I have delivered many laughter workshops alongside my creative work.

I have exhibited my artwork internationally, from New York to Japan and across Europe. I am a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, printmaking, and painting, exploring materials, process, and form within my practice. Alongside my own practice, I spent 15 years working with an arts organisation, designing and delivering workshops that ranged from pure creative play to deeper work around personal growth and confidence.

I have worked with people of all ages and abilities, from nursery settings to art schools, and everything in between. What I have seen time and time again is that creativity has the power to unlock something in all of us, no matter where we are starting from.

My approach is clear, simple, and straight-talking. I create supportive, playful spaces where people can explore, express themselves, and build confidence. No judgement, no one-size-fits-all, just real experiences that meet people where they are.

I bring together creativity, play, and wellbeing to help people explore what is possible in a way that feels natural, engaging, and even a bit fun. Because personal growth does not have to be heavy all the time.

Outside of my work, I am just as happy in the energy of city life as I am surrounded by the calm of the countryside, and that balance flows into how I work with people too.

So, a little bit more about me…

I’m a child of the 80’s. I was born and raised on a farm in the Scottish Borders, though I now in live in Glasgow and have done for over 20 years. As a kid you would find me covered in mud and playing with the dogs and cats. Then as a teenager all I wanted to do was move to the big city. I remember the first time I came to Glasgow, the energy the city had was unreal, it charged through my body and I felt so alive. At my heart though still lies the country, I love the calm peacefulness, I’m a real mix of both.

I studied Fine Art to Masters level and have had an exciting career over the last 15 years in the art world, exhibiting in galleries around the world from New York to Japan to Berlin. I have also worked in arts education for over 14 years, helping young people develop their personal skills and confidence. I have used art as a tool to help people feel more confident and realise their potential in both their work and life.

I now also have a family, 2 wee ones and so life can be chaotic and messy at times but always full of adventure.
